I started as a broke college student with a small account and a news feed. Over three years, I turned that into consistent six-figure trading years — news-driven options plays, small-cap setups, the stuff you learn by doing, losing, and adjusting. The Wall Street Journal ran a piece on my approach when I was 23. Returns were independently verified.

Then I took the institutional leap. I moved into wholesale power trading — executing 300MW hourly block trades across PJM, MISO, and SERC. That seat is where rigor, risk discipline, and systems thinking stop being aspirational and become the job. You don't survive an institutional desk running on vibes.

What I learned there reshaped how I trade everything. The discretionary retail trader I used to be evolved into a systems operator who builds, backtests, and executes rules.
